Oh I see this is what you do - Argue with people who believe making our community better. I don't get your point because you haven't made one.

I believe the SLT would help, not fix several of Lawrence's economic issues.

Too bad. We are already way behind the surrounding cities, and yet people wonder why Lawrence has so many businesses downtown that can't stay in business. Who wants to deal with the mess of traffic we have here in Lawrence so tax dollars go else where. I don't understand why this is an issue; if it's because of the wetlands they are being replaced. End of discussion move forward!!!!!!!!
For the sake of Lawrence build the SLT!
