Kris Kobach proposing law preventing citizenship for American-born children of illegal immigrants

Wonder how much would that cost all of us, taxpayers, since the government would have to verify legal status for ALL babies - I think that would be under Due Process and Equal Rights amendments... or do those not count either?????

Kris Kobach proposing law preventing citizenship for American-born children of illegal immigrants

So does that mean when I go have a child in a Hospital I would have to prove that I am a legal US citizen, alien, etc... As a US Citizen I will be quite pissed off when they will ask me for that. Or will I be ok if i look and sound white???? This is such BS.

I agree with Katara. There is no way a person with fake SS will be able to access any benefits through SS office.

Pro-life until birth - could not have summarized it better. same people are pro death penalty, and claiming Health reform is socialistic and anti-American, not to mention their view of immigrants in this country. I agree guarantee quality public education, quality medical care, living wage - and many more parents will choose to have more kids.

Sometimes abortion is the best decision a woman can do - and it is not an easy one and there are regrets afterwards, I am sure, but we have a choice. Women will do abortions regardless of whether it is legal or not (check on some of Latin American countries that ban them) - because it is a personal choice. It is up to a woman what she will do with her body - and who are we to judge. But I guess if you don't have any sins, you throw the first stone.

Anna Undercover: "Mom, I'm Dating a Stripper"

Are you kidding me? Police? Restraining orders? What if Anna misreads my comments... I might just call the police myself. This is getting way weird or is just a marketing campaign to get more attention to the posts that many people agree are one sided. You got way too much personal info out there, considering where you work and who you want to be (attorney). How in a world are you going to explain this to the Bar on your admissions application?

Anna Undercover: Alcohol

@Anna I didn't say "noone" can do it sober. I don't know why you wrote that comment at me at all. I think you might be misreading comments you do not like.

Anna Undercover: Alcohol

Boring. everyone knows alcohol is bad for you. Its even worse if you are almost naked and trashed... it just can't end too good. Lots of ladies suffer with alcohol problems at strip clubs. It is very true - sober ones always make more money. Drunk ones get taken advantage off and end up with DUIs - expensive stuff. Many have to drink to be able to work - thats the sad part - very few can do it sober - and that tells you something. I want to know about girls and their plans for the future... how many of them think of stripping as a career, etc.

Anna Undercover: Sex in Clubs?

I also hope that your blogs do not encourage young women to get empowered that way. Its keeping us women who are intelligent and ambitious from equal opportunities and advances. You must not remember history and how hard some of us fought for our rights and being able to be more than an object of sexual desires. I would rather be empowered as a brilliant attorney than a highly paid stripper. Do your parents know you strip?
