MUSIC! Science and science-fiction. (Any and all things TREK!) Lasers. Firearms and firearm politics. Civil liberties and church-state separation issues. Non-classical (read "armchair") philosophy.

Classic, alternative, southern, heavy metal... any and ALL kids of Rock & Roll! I'm also a big fan of a cappella music and '80s style retro/new wave.

Anything and everything Stephen King. "The Demon Haunted World" by Carl Sagan. "God Is Not Great" by Christopher Hitchens. "The Rape Of The A*P*E*" by Alan Sherman.
Favorite TV shows
Dexter, Criminal Minds, CSI (any and all varieties). Any flavor of Star Trek. Homeland (and anything else with Clair Danes)!
Favorite movies
Alien, Alien 2, 2001: A Space Odyssey, ALL Trek movies (2 and 3 being my favorites), ALL Star Wars movies (the first [pt 4] and second being my favorites), Westworld, Silent Running, Carrie, Rollerball (the original 1975 version), Logan's Run, Stargate, The Exorcist (original).
