Let’s get it started: A team-by-team look at the fall sports at Free State High
Why was a FSHS senior gymnasts not included in the picture? This is the second year in a row the LJ World did not include a senior gymnast in the Fall Sports picture. Gymnastics contributes to the school's State titles and should not be overlooked.

Upset city: Shorthanded LHS ends Firebirds' season
Even though LHS played a great game, it was very disappointing to see the LHS football staff demonstrate lack of respect for the Free State Seniors by having the LHS football team run onto the field to interrupt the senior recognition program. These seniors and their parents deserve the recognition and it is in extreme poor taste to dishonor these boys and their families.

No place like home: Lions settled into new digs, ready for season
Again, LJ World overlooks Gymnastics by not including a gymnast in the picture (the caption recognized tennis by including verbiage the tennis rep was absent). At least there is some mention about the gymnastic athletes. The Free State article was all about the achievements of the new coach.

Star search: Free State's small senior class talented if not stellar
This article is about the fall sports athletes at Free State, however, the Gymnastics section is all about the coach. Also, the senior gymnasts were not included in the photo. Tom you slighted a very important sport. As a reporter you are responsible to keep to the topic of the story and not let the coach's ego take away the spotlight of the athletes.
