You seem fairly well informed so you should know that a voter turnout of 50% is extremely high in light of the historical data showing all time record high turnout at the national level was 62% in 1960.
So do you want to claim the bums who stayed home or should I? :-)
Seems to me when the Liberals win elections the Dems are praised for their valiant efforts to GOTV.

It really is remarkable reading the comments on this thread. Liberals are so open minded and tolerant until someone actually voices an opinion contrary to their own! Then it becomes very apparent who the "haters" are. Really Sychophant? You really want her dead? Wow...tolerant indeed.

In case you didn't notice, sir, "these dolts" have a super majority in the statehouse. That means you are obviously more intelligent than the population of the entire state of Kansas who elected those "dolts". My, it must be miserable to live in such a small world.

It really is ironic when those who know little of faith matters can presume to define someone else's spiritual beliefs.

There is no "Christian God" no more than there is a "Jewish God". I know several Jews who are followers of Christ. Doesn't change the fact that God is God and whether or not you believe is irrelevant except that is usually manifested in one's political position. Since the DNC attendants resoundingly rejected a platform resolution recognizing the Deity, perhaps you are more comfortable in that party, even though the Chairman declared that resolution passed.... Just thought I'd mention it since we are discussing "schisms in the Parties".
