Phenix win tournament
Randy Fyler is a great coach and it is wonderful that he is still doing so even after his daughter has finished playing. Way to go Phenix.

City to begin issuing tickets on Tuesday for unshoveled sidewalks
Once again Mustard Seed Church lives out the admonition of take care of yourself and no one else as they totally cleaned their parking lot but neighbors can't use the sidewalks that they have not cleaned. They are obviously reading different red words than are written.

No one injured in boating emergency at Clinton Lake
Let he/she who has never made a mistake cast the first stone. Lets count our blessings as a community that no lives were lost. Why do some people have to be so quick to criticize, especially when it involves total speculation?

City commissioners hear about effects of 5 percent budget cuts
Woe is the City; Woe are the taxpayers. We have an office with over 50 phones and we've used nothing but used replacement parts for over 15 years. AND WE MAKE MONEY!!! The City needs to get real, especially when it is just spending other people's money.

A breath of scandal: Renowned scholar to lecture in Lawrence
I have read several of his books. He is very bright and inciteful and if one would keep an open mind about what the Bible might mean he/she could learn something.

Agents raid special counsel's office
Pearsonite-you must not know him very well if you think he is an honorable man. Look how he treats others. Look what he has done to his family. You kinda have to wonder what was on those computers that he was so concerned about hiding.

Possible snow-clearing changes get cold shoulder
I just wish the good Christian Mustard Seed Church would clean its sidewalks (instead of just doing their own parking lot and ignoring their neighbors).

Is your sidewalk clear? City may crack down
I wish the Ketchup Sprout Church at Harvard and Wakarusa would clean the sidewalks for the public the same way that it cleans its own parking lot (religiously). They have an interesting "me first" philosophy.

City reconsiders snow shoveling policy (The Morning Rush)
I wish the Ketchup Sprout Church at Harvard and Wakarusa would clean its sidewalks for the public. It certainly takes care of its parking lot. Kind of a me first philosophy from the Church.
