Momentum killer: Hobbled Lions beaten up in 55-21 setback to Vikings

And it sounds like you are a enemy of his that waits for a loss against a tough and ranked (another funny website for ya http://www.maxpreps.com/rankings/foot... ) opponent to speak up on a forum calling for his head. Get real. You're worse than an armchair qb. You're a faceless blogger asking for a change of leadership right before the district playoffs start. Great way to support you alma mater.

Yes I understand that the end of the season rankings are the only ones that matter. You are not the only arm chair quarterback on this blog that can quote common sports cliches.

You asked about their ranking after they upset Olathe North and I supplied a wesite with the correct information.

Nuff ' said.

Sorry for my mistake, they were ranked #2 in class 6a on this website. Scroll to the bottom of the page if you'd like to fact check:

As far as over playing people:
Injuries are going to happen in the game of football. Ask any coach about how they are going to perform in the playoffs. The response always starts with: "well if we can stay healthy..." or "as long as our guys are healthy..."

If you want to stick to your guns and continue to call for a coaching change, have the guts to do it when they upset the #1 team in the state. Don't only feel compelled to "voice" your opinion when they lose big the next week. That is why you sir/ma'am, are a bandwaggoner.

Lawrence High wins wrestling regional

fearsadness14, while we do share the same number in our names, we do not share the same opinion of the lax reporting by the ljw. This attempt at a wrestling "box score" is meager at best. Hopefully they can get some good coverage of the state tournament so that the city can keep up with some great student athletes.

Lawrence High wins wrestling regional

Really? This is it? Allow me to revert back to 7th grade journalism class to write a brief breakdown of the tournament....After a strong rebound from a disappointing Sunflower League tournament, the LHS wrestlers put 10 in the finals and only lost 1 match in the final round of the tournament (Not including a injury default by a banged up Levi Flohrshutzf or 1st and 2nd). Finalized by a 2nd period pin by Brad Wilson at 215 (which earned him 3rd), the Lions rallied back from losing the lead in the consolation finals to overcome 2 teams that defeated them at the League to gain the Regional title! Reece Wright-Conklin and Hunter Haralson continued their domination of the Sunflower league by earning a trip to state with lopsided victories of their finals opponents. Dustin Walthall battled back from an injury to defeat a SME opponent that he had lost to in the previous two tournaments. Great Job Dustin! Continuing with the injury theme, Andrew Denning held onto an early lead and overcame an injured shoulder to win his first regional crown in thrilling fashion. The Lions continued their finals domination in the 3rd and 4th place matches with wins by Ben Seybert, Cameron Magdaleno and Caleb Torneden. Braxton Vardys lost a tough match for 3rd and 4th but will live to wrestle again this weekend at state.

Congrats and good luck to all of the LHS wrestlers!
