Will LJWorld announce the house & cause? I will take some time off work to help, but I'd need details before taking it to the boss-man.

Two Fort Leavenworth soldiers arrested as suspects in KU campus armed robbery
"The military has gotten to the point of accepting all kinds."
The military is trying to get rid of service-members right now for budgetary reasons. In getting rid of service-members, they are only keeping the finest of the finest. Please do not make generalizations about the men and women in uniform.
I'm sorry you wouldn't want to live on an Army post amongst such heroes and their families who sacrifice so much. Those are the people I surround myself with and I couldn't be more safe. There is no community greater than a military community.
These men will be handled by the military and you can bet they will receive much harsher penalty than what a civilian would receive.
The military is a concentrated, smaller representation of society. Don't forget that.

A time to honor veterans
frewent- totally agree. As the wife of a veteran, I get so angry that Veteran's Day is a commercial holiday inviting the masses to come save a buck at the nearest big-retailer. Furthermore, I don't believe my husband has ever had the day off on Veteran's Day.
gogoplata- the death of that hero is a price that was paid for this country to remain free. You may not agree with what the politician believes in... but the death of a young hero is very clearly a PRICE that has been PAID... making it the COST.

I have it under good authority that those toy rubber rifles were borrowed from the ARMY.
