Animal rights advocates call for end of carbon monoxide in euthanizing animals
I don't believe anything about abortion relates to this and certainly takes away from the importance of what the topic is really about. It is more cost effective to euthanize via injection. As far as the gas chamber, it takes an animal 30-45 minutes to die WHILE being in the chamber with many other unwanted pets, including puppies, all clambering for their lives. Some places will put cats and dogs in the same chamber. After the first batch is dead more live animals are put in with the dead. Perhaps when we can show compassion for animals it will carry over to our fellow man.
