I agree....maybe she should not be poppin kids out left and right if she can't handle them!!! The children were her responsibility and no on elses, however it sounds as if her family was trying to help but she refused to provide the child's location. In fact if it wasn't for someone being observant enough and trying to help, the child more than likely would not have been found until it was too late. The system should not be blamed, people always want to blame someone else, in this case or any case like this there is absolutely no excuse at all, and I would love to witness what happens with her in the prison yard!!!!

I am sooooooo sorry for this family's loss, I couldn't sleep all night thinkin about what they must have been going through, I think we were all praying that there would be a happy ending in this situation. I have swam im Lone Star before and I believe that if the child went under the dock (like a lot of kids do) no one would have saw him if he was fighting to stay above water, and there's not a lot of free space between the dock and the water! I believe a life guard should definetly be placed on duty, and there should be a safety net to keep kids from going under the dock!!!!! No one sould EVER have to experience a loss like this......goes to show you just how precious life really is!!!!

Search for missing 7-year-old set to resume Sunday morning

While I agree that the child should have had more supervision this is not a parent bashing topic right now, atleast wait to see what the outcome of the situation is first!!! I guarantee if the parents could take back the decision to let their child go swimming they would!!!!!!! DO NOT act like you are a perfect parent, things happen!!!! All we can do is pray, not only for the child, but for the parent's as well!!!!!! When I'm done praying for them I will be sure to pray for all the ignorant souls who posted uneccessary comments!!!!
