Four vehicles involved in wreck on U.S. 59

Yup. That was put into effect a number of years back. If you get your license when you turn sixteen it is good until you turn 20. That license is only good for a year, then you have to renew yet again when you turn 21.

All that hassle because it must be very difficult to locate the date of birth on the under 21 version. Ridiculous,.

Was Florida shooter a vigilante or good neighbor?

I imagine most of the murderers in those cases, didn't wait around to tell the police they shot the guy in self defense. Just to have the police say "Yeah, that's cool. I believe you.". The fact that before there was public outrage, the police had no intention of further investigation is appalling. They didn't even try to figure out the truth to what happened. I am supposed to believe that the police couldn't find the phone records, really?

Add to it that it could quite possibly turn out to be a hate crime and this murder stands out way more than the gang violence you are referring to.

Getting it stirred up is the only reason there may even be prosecution. The police department had every intention of closing the case at the murderer's word before it blew up.

People should be outraged. It is absolutely appalling what has taken place regardless of skin color. For things to really change, it could take a lot of outraged people.

Brock Berglund sad to see Turner Gill go

I don't think they penalize transfers another year once there has been a coaching change, could be wrong though.

I agree that the redshirt was wasted due to not being able to practice with the team. It could however, end up being a blessing. He did not spend a year learning a system that is no longer in place.

Teen rethinking apology letter to Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback

Yes, she should not have been on her phone, but like deec said, she is not being asked to write an apology for using her electronics.

She was far from the only one using her phone that day, I'am sure.

She is being asked because Brownback isn't tough enough to handle online criticism from a high schooler. If she must write a letter, she can do so in a way that doesn't apologize for how she feels but does for using her phone during his time.

If the principal doesn't except this then he is really limiting her speech.

Source says Mizzou primed to join SEC

I really don't want the rivalry to go, but if they leave then screw them. They helped cause this mess to begin with. Self has already said that he wouldn't help them out by strengthening their RPI and why should we?

We won't chase them. They are the ones giving the big FU to KC.

How did you hear about Sept. 11? What do you remember from that day?

High school freshman sitting in English class. We turned the TV on after the first plane hit and saw the second one hit live. The entire class sat there stunned as the towers fell. Every class from then on out we watched the news.

Fambrough St.

Of course KU should honor him, but they don't have to be the only ones. I've always hated having Missouri street lead to the stadium.

I don't think it will happen but it is a cool idea.

KU celebrates season-opening win

Much improvement from last year. It was a lot of fun watching this team. The defense will need to improve or we will be rolled in conference play.

Colorado officials mystified by Brownback's letter on water deal

I would love to see a solution like that. I hate seeing a lake disappear. There has to be a better solution than destroying a lake.
