City, County would pay to keep open state SRS office under proposal announced Monday

Lawrence officials are letting SRS officials off of the hook and covering a bad decision with a bad decision; some things never change: There is always a simple solution to a complex problem, and it is usually wrong. Lets see what really plays out, is this really community colloboration or community clobberation.

Local officials, representatives hope to prevent closure of Lawrence SRS office

I sense moderates and liberals of all parties observing this change of the guard and wondering if it represents the real values of Kansans. Keep looking beyond the smoke and mirrors and look to what values are being forced on us. We do need a consensus candidate. Who will step forward or be thrust into answering this need?

Welcome to what appears to be the new world of SRS Ms. Gilmore; Mr.Haney did not create the "misinformation", you and your bosses did; At least you did not blame him outright, only by implication. Dancing and spinning does not become you, good luck.
