Authorities believe Lana-Leigh Bailey's body was moved to Osage County after killings in Ottawa
it will keep him off the streets UNTIL some bleeding heart judge thinks the prisons are overcrowded and lets him OUT! It has happened in the past, it will happen again!

Letter: Firepower
As opposed to left wing influenced organizations that claim AR-15's kill innocent children, but it's okay to abort (i.e. kill) innocent children?

U.S. Attorney General Holder tells Brownback new gun law is unconstitutional
Has anyone here considered that the purpose of this law was simply to send a message to Washington, "don't try to bully us-leave our constitutional rights alone!" I think the folks who wrote and passed this law are not all the backwoods morons some here would like us to believe-I think they are smart enough to know that the State of Kansas cannot usurp Federal Law.....I think they just wanted to send a message. Nothing more. Think about it. Passing this law surely got more attention than if the legislature had stood outside on the steps of the Capitol building holding up signs saying "don't mess with our rights." A lot more attention.
But then, I guess it's more "in" to simply say our lawmakers are all dolts and morons, huh..

Burglar steals jewelry from home while resident sleeps
Exactly why do you NEED to know exactly where this took place? Why do you NEED to know who the victim was?

Advocates from both sides of gun control debate discuss with community
I find it ironic that so many who wish to do away with guns altogether (citing safety concerns) have no trouble killing unborn babies. Why is that?

Advocates from both sides of gun control debate discuss with community
It's very simple, really. Many of the anti-gun crowd have stated they want to start with background checks, then with mandatory registration, and finally with confiscation. Personally, I don't disagree with background checks-but too often we (the people) have been lied to, mislead, etc. Obamacare is a good example. And the criminals and mentally ill among us aren't likely to submit to a background check anyway They'll just (continue) to steal the guns they use.

Police seeking suspect in robbery of laptop at Lawrence Visitor Center
So sad that there is apparently no shortage of scum in this town. I hope the Police find and arrest this waste of flesh.

Vigil held to promote gun control
It would seem to me that if banning certain types of guns would result in less crime, then why not just BAN CRIME?? Wouldn't that be easier??

Gun bills easily approved
(most of) the folks who post here don't want to be bothered with facts or common sense. Too many of them just believe they must bad-mouth and ridicule anything that differs from THEIR viewpoint. It's that simple.
