Journal-World websites to require commenters to identify themselves

This about $$$, nothing more. LJW (print edition) tells me they REQUIRE a $5 month carrier tip or I can pick up my paper at the curb (when it IS delivered). Then the google survey stuff to read articles online, now selling out to Facebook. I won't miss you, LJWORLD.

Journal-World websites to require commenters to identify themselves

It's just too bad the LJW doesn't say "come in and prove who you are and we'll keep your identity confidential, and you can be anonymous (to the rest of the world). I would do that (actually did do it sometime back after some slanderous comments about me were posted.

Hey Merrill, give it a rest already. Is Bush really to blame for EVERYTHING in the world? Is Bush to blame for YOU? Find a different line.

Lawrence man travels state informing Kansans about Affordable Care Act

Anyone with half a bit of common sense would wonder, if ACA is so wonderful, why in hell is congress exempting themselves from it?

Letter: Ineffective Congress

Hey Hepburn, they all lie on a regular basis-to fit things into their idealogy. Fox, ABC, NBC, CNN, CNBC, all of them. If you don't think this is true, you are fooling only yourself. Just like all the Dems claimed Bush lied (about damn near everything) the Repubs think Obama lies. Neither side is very honorable anymore. And neither side really gives a damn about what the American people want.

Kansas attorney general joins NRA, 21 other states in challenge of federal handgun restriction

Not that it really matters, but how do you figure a Ruger 10-22 is not meant for hunting ? Or do you mean that wasn't YOUR intended purpose for it...

Appeals court knocks down Montana law similar to Kansas' Second Amendment Protection Act

I kinda wonder if the legislature passed that law more as a way to say "stop telling the states what to do" rather than any of them really thinking it would pass legal muster. I have to hope they're not that stupid.
