Essential place

south of the river would make the current Baker wetlands site an island. it would have roads on all four sides. does that make sense? how about build it on 32nd street and add 300+ new acres of wetlands, a visitor center, and money to maintain the wetlands?

i am rubber and you're glue. ahh that is funny.

build the road and let everyone involved move forward. i am sorry you will never see the benefits that others and i do. we cannot change what negatives happened in the past. let us make a better future.

so if someone does not have the same views as you then they are a "racist"?

you don't like the road and others do. in the end the persons with laws on their side will have their way.

you have a good day at work not destroying things.

well let's here you defend the "only time they were ever out there was to have drunken parties".

i guess you think alot of people in lawrence are rascist because i believe that is what they think of most college students, including Haskell and Baker.
never once on here have i ever said anything bad about Haskell. i am trying to make you see that you can tell us your "facts" about other places, but i have yet to see any "facts" that you have said that would make me want to stop the road.
sorry you feel like all of Baker hates you and native americans, but i don't think that is true and i am sure Haskell teams have been "war-whooped" by more than just Baker over their long history of team sports.
i am not dening anything other than you make no facts about Baker's Wetland, just your opinion statements, followed by "facts" about other places that have nothing to do with Baker's Wetland. i am not dening anything about BIA or how students were treated then. i think that is the past and we can not change that. Baker has done wonderful things for their wetlands. maybe Haskell should hire Boyd to work on theirs. it looks bad and unmanaged.

I just love how you are puking up facts about all other Native Indian history, but continue to FAIL miserablly about telling or showing any facts about children being buried at the Baker Wetlands. It sounds like you need to go fight a different fight and watch the road get built. Because you and your fabrications are not going to stop it.

Are you a book saleman? You want everyone to read these books. You make me laugh.

so you are offended by the Baker Wetland restoration that was done in the mid 1990's or the new restoration site?
are you also mad at all of the farmers to the east that are "selling" their land to KDOT?
i guess i would have to say you are never going to be happy, but that is what a negative person like you does, but i hope you realize that the road is going to happen and that stupid lawsuit was never good enough to stop the road. it was only meant to slow it down. so good luck with trying to stop it with that weak lawsuit. i think it might be time to move on to something more important.

when was it ever called the "Haskell Wetlands"? If it was "Haskell Wetlands" it would be closed to the public and maintained as well as the land to the north (that is not maintained at all). I prefer the way it is maintained now and am looking forward to seeing what an additional 300+ acres will look like. You just need to realize this road is happening and it is not an "Native American" issue. Hope you and tuschkahouma are able to move on and find something else to put your negative energy towards.

let us see these "articles" you talk about. i have known DR. boyd for many years and he has never once said anything about "selling out" ever. you just don't know any facts and say any facts about this SLT project. i just hope you are out there when the road starts and you can see what compromise and progress looks like. you have a good day.
