Proposal puts part of Lawrence in 1st District
Do you ever notice how the republicans are against big government unless it is something totally in their favor?
If the tables were turned on this the republicans would be screaming out about The Constitution, the Bill of Rights, Socialism and how big government was killing us.
This is a despicable bunch in Topeka. They obviously put party over country.

Brownback says Senate redistricting may be left up to the court system
That's right. Kobach has stopped all that voter fraud we had in Kansas......oh wait.

Task force says coordinator needed to spearhead efforts to attract retirees to Lawrence
I know several retirees in Lawrence and none of them live in a home valued over $300k and they are living in nice homes. I don't know where that $320k number came from but it is definitely a reach. You can buy a very nice stand alone home or a condo in Lawrence for well under $300k.

And Florida is OK if you like hurricanes. California is OK if you like earthquakes. Arizona is OK if you like unbearable heat.
Kansas weather really isn't all that bad.

House delivers mammoth tax cut bill to Brownback, who says he is prepared to sign it
Great point Bob. However, most far right folks and the corrupt far right media tend to overlook your point. In fact, they simply ignore it because it doesn't fit in with their playbook.

Kansas House revives Kobach voter-citizenship plan
I, for one, have NO problem proving who I am when I vote. What I object to is the farce brought forth by Kobach that voter fraud was a huge problem in Kansas. It isn't. He got elected on this issue and now he is spending money that we don't have on it. Once again people, VOTER FRAUD IS NOT AN ISSUE IN KANSAS!
I agree with you. Instead of spending valuable time and resources on a non-issue, why aren't these republicans working on real issues like "double jeopardy personal property tax."

Kansas House revives Kobach voter-citizenship plan
Don't waste your time trying to explain anything to the far-right in Kansas. The names Kobach and Brownback immediately make them jump into lock-step and not question anything they do or say.

GOP redistricting fight could mean courts make final decision
The Kansas republican party is showing exactly what is wrong with Washington DC. Today's republicans cannot work with themselves, let alone democrats. No wonder they have become the party of "no" and they refuse to compromise on any issue, even their own issues. Today's republicans are "party over country". Disgusting.

Do you mention to your neighbor when his or her lawn grows too long?
I have lived in Lawrence for 20 years and this has never been a problem. Maybe I am lucky but my neighbors have always taken very good care of their lawns. Simply not an issue.

Sound Off: Why doesn’t KU host first-round NCAA Tournament games at Allen Fieldhouse?
I've been around KU basketball for a very, very long time. I have never, ever heard one fan say that AFH should hold regionals. Never.
The only thing ddddddddddddddelusional around here are KSU fans claiming "Octagon of Doom"......
