How I came to live in Lawrence
Mom came here to go to grad school when I was a teenager. I sometimes wonder what life would have been like for me if she picked Albuquerque instead.

Favorite music
I'm a Rock and Roll child, dig the blues a lot, but pretty much appreciate any good music. Don't like too much Metal, Pop or Country but can even groove on some of that when done well. I never got in to Jazz, though, not sure why.
Favorite books
Non-fiction mostly. I like to learn about people and places, moden and ancient.
Favorite TV shows
The Daily Show! I like A&E, Comedy Central, Discovery and History Channels. Don't like much regular network TV, though I do get sucked in to reality TV sometimes. I love the Apprentice (The Donald's hair cracks me up) and GAME SHOWS! It is my life's goal to get on Jeopardy! I like the new one on Discovery, too, Cash Cab. It rocks. I'm back in to All My Children again now that there's the Soap Network and I can watch when I'm off work. Oh, and I like Medium (go figure, right)
Favorite movies
Good comedies, not stupid comedies, and dramas. While I appreciate a good suspense thriller, I can't stand slasher flicks.
