Line-cutting, mobbing has KU Athletics reviewing Late Night admittance protocol

I like the ticket idea. Especially if they only charge 10 bucks per ticket. I can then scalp it for 200. Very cool.

Bike MS rides into Lawrence

Oh boo hoo ! ! ! ! ! They are doing something for a good cause. If the signs bother you that much, don't look, or better yet, get off your lazy butt and take them down yourself.

Lions struggle against SME, 26-3

Always proud of the Lions. However, I just about fell out of the stadium last night when Coach allowed Springe to attempt a 40 yard field goal. Are you kidding me? This coming from a coach who made it very clear in the past that the kicking game is not important to football. Would not allow kickers time to perfect their talents during practice other than a few minutes. Well, if it weren't for the "kicking game" the Lions would have had a giant goose egg on the scoreboard last night.

Lawrence schools at a tipping point

They have been yacking about changing the boundaries for a few years now and nothing gets done. It is time to cut the fat and make the new boundaries. Sure, toes are going to get stepped on, but keeping the student to teacher ratio in a proper range is important to their educational development. Too many schools to the west are bulging at the seams. Change the boundary lines now!

Lawrence wants property to house multimillion dollar police headquarters

What is wrong with having two precincts? One is out of the old Judicial and Law Enforcement Center at 111 E11th and the other is the current location at 15th and Wakarusa. Other cities have their deparments divided into jurisdictional areas, why can't we? We can then spend all that saved money on things like round-a-bouts, speed humps, and other frivolous things instead of the rapidly decaying infra structure. Priorities there City fathers, priorities!!!

Letter: Better spending

Totally agree!! Why do we have to always be the world's police department? Keep our money at home. Invest it in our future. Close the borders as well.
