Obama backs away from debate challenge
Why don't we just all go to communal living? We could live off the land, grow our own food, go back to the horse and buggy, start heating our homes with wood burning stoves that we can also use to cook our home grown veggies and farm raised bacon and eggs? Now that would really cut back on our fuel usage. We could save billions of gallons!Sounds pretty stupid doesn't it?Almost as stupid as saving billions of gallons by inflating your tires and tuning up your car!Dah!

Appeals court frustrated by legal conflicts in Cork and Barrel case
I would not be surprised if they bring in more than $40,000 a day, not saying that is their profit, but only they know for sure. I'm sure the store on Iowa has well over one million in inventory.

Appeals court frustrated by legal conflicts in Cork and Barrel case
justthefacts -- Isn't that pretty much the way the world works? If you have enough money you can buy your way out of or into anything? Heck, all they have to do is keep it in Appeals Court and keep their stores open raking in the cash. When they feel they've got enough or the courts get fed up, either they will close their stores and retire comfortably or the state will close their stores and they still get to retire comfortably. It's a win-win situation for them.

What question would you like to ask one of the 2008 presidential candidates?
Obama: Are you running for president now because now you feel you can accomplish more that way than agitating from the outside? If the politicians in place respond to African-American voters' needs, will you gladly work with and support them? Do you feel really feel people, especially black voters and minorities are so angry and ready for a change at a national level?

Man arrested in case of missing Texas teen found in Lawrence
Hey, If they feel their life is so bad, let them become emancipated. Put their rebellious little a** out in the real world. The ones who really have a hard life at home will be able to make their life better, because they "want" a better life. The ones who are whiney little spoiled snots will get the chance to find out doing the dishes, your homework, coming home at curfew, keeping your room and your nose clean wasn't such a bad deal after all.
