Citizenship law hits young voters, low-income neighborhoods hardest

Let's see. Kobach is riding the ID law as his flagship accomplishment. Decline in voters has impacted KS more so than any other state, and specifically, young, minorities and poor. Sounds like a GOP fantasy.

Do some research and you can't argue the facts. It isn't aimed at stopping illegals from voting. Statistically, voter fraud, is a non factor. It's one party knowing how much their constituents fear everything and use that as a ploy to get what they want; less voters for the other team. Plain and simple.

Man with legal concealed gun had to leave Salina theater

Leslie-
Nice try. Every business has the right to refuse service, unless it's based on race/sex/religion etc. If business don't want guns, people without shirts and shoes or if they are unkempt, they can decline assistance or services. Buy great effort comparing a CC to real discrimination.

National gun control advocates challenge Kansas' Second Amendment Protection Act

I figured since we're playing into conspiracy that the government is trying to disarm it's citizens so they can have more control, why not it be a MI6 covert plan for us to be taken back over? It all makes so much sense.

National gun control advocates challenge Kansas' Second Amendment Protection Act

Nailed it. Once they get our guns, the British can finally exact their revenge.

Should people be allowed to carry concealed weapons into the Kansas Statehouse?

I'm with Greg. Stand behind your decision.

Should Kansas ban discrimination against someone based on sexual orientation or gender identity?

It's ridiculous this has to be a question.

Indian tribe that once proposed North Lawrence casino purchases large tract along interstate

Can anyone explain how they would be able to have a casino? I'm all for it. I'm just unclear on the land issue; is it not subject to the same regulations as normal property, or, once a tribe buys land is that land then a sovereign entity.

More than a decade after a citywide ban, fireworks still making noise in Lawrence

It's a silly ban using fear as it's justification. Accidents happen. I believe the original ban was put in place stating the amount of property damage over a 25 year stretch accumulating something near $700k in damages; much of which was that one incident at an apartment complex. I agree with most here, if you aren't going to stop it, and, only give verbal warning, quit wasting our time and those of a public service nature and move on.

Four Topeka men to face trial in alleged K2 robbery at Lawrence McDonald's

So a guy who was in prison for selling drugs, gets robbed in a bad drug deal and then gets immunity? Surely he won't be at it again.
