Building a world class cancer center
Obtaining designation as a National Cancer Institute is a top priority for Kansas University. Millions of dollars are going toward this goal, which has the potential to save the lives of Kansans.

My heart goes out to the Young family. It is hard to watch a family member go through this type of a disease. I hope and pray that one day they will find a cure for cancer!

Cancer is a high profit business.
My mother in law was taking a pharmaceutical tablet = $100 per day. It did not cure the cancer.
The medical insurance industry does not like long term care... grab your wallets,
The medical insurance industry loves medicare and medicaid because it enables them to dump clients at their discretion.
One thing the medical insurance industry will not do is guarantee anyone medical coverage for life UNLESS you are profitable = no outstanding medical problems.
