    It's no more a costume than the jeans and t-shirts most of "us" wear and definitely similar to the business suits seen on white collar workers.

    I have grown up in a German Baptist home, although I have not yet joined the church. As for the dress, I would say it is far from a "holier than thou" look. These people are truly trying to strive for a literal interpretation of the Bible. Modesty, simplicity, and nonconformity to the world are of utmost importance. If you are willing to make a true change in your life, then you certainly could last there.
