Clown school in Sedan provides an education in laughter

Students participating in the second annual Emmett Kelly Sr. Clown School of Performing Arts get schooled in skit production, juggling and make-up.

    Agreed Basset. Ever since I read IT by Stephen King back in high school and the movie putting a picture to Pennywise the clown, yikes!

    Dang! I wonder if anyone likes clowns. They always creeped me out too! Mimes too!But you're right. They probably mean well... at least most of them...

    I know that clowns are supposed to be fun, etc. but I can't stand them and haven't been able to since I was a small child. Both of my kids hate clowns too. Aren't they supposed to be fond entertainment for children? I've never known a kid that liked a clown.

    Ever been to Sedan? They're probably trying to do something -- anything -- to give people in that town something to laugh at.
