Jennifer Schack
Jennifer Schack is from California, Kentucky. She grew up being fascinated by weather and watching her favorite local weather department, WKRC, in Cincinnati, OH.
She attended Thomas More College in northern Kentucky where she earned her bachelors in Independent Study: Meteorology in May of 2004. While in college she also worked at for her favorite local weather department, WKRC, as their morning weather producer. She worked 4am-8am Monday through Friday, while going to school full time. Upon graduation her first on-air job lead her to Lawrence, KS.
Jennifer began at 6News in June 2004 as the morning meteorologist. In November of 2006 she was promoted to chief meteorologist. Both have been positions she has throughly enjoyed.
When she's not at work and the weather is quiet, she's often finding something to do outdoors with her new husband, Jason.
