Bishop Seabury boys hold off Pembroke Hill in 67-52 win

The Bishop Seabury boys basketball team closed out the regular season with a 67-52 home win over Pembroke Hill Thursday night.

Early on, the Seahawks struggled to score the ball but eventually jumped out to a 13-point lead in the third quarter. Pembroke trimmed the deficit to 3 points, but Bishop Seabury hit some timely shots to close things out.

Zach Bloch, who led the team with 28 points, was huge for the Seahawks down the stretch. Stavian Jones also hit key shots in the second half, finishing with 15 points. Joao Carlos Ramirez joined them in double figures with 10 points.

Bishop Seabury (No. 10 in Class 2A) will play host to Olathe Heritage Christian at 7 p.m. Monday in the opening round of sub-state.
