After opening up the season with just 19 points, Eudora matched that – and then some – in just one game. First year coach Sean Hayden earned his first win as head coach in Eudora’s 26-7 road victory over Ottawa Friday night.

Gavin Elston’s relentlessness on offense paved way for the Cardinals with a pair of rushing touchdowns on the night. Quarterback Zeke Reazin helped give Eudora an eight-point lead to start the game with a 24-yard touchdown pass to Kaiden Horting. To open up the third quarter, Eudora led by 20, and held on for the win.

Eudora (1-5) plays host to Paola at 7 p.m. Friday.
