Sound Off: Affordable Care Act navigators
How much do Affordable Care Act navigators make a year and how many of them are in Kansas?
In July, the federal government provided $1,633,928 in funding for 14 community health centers in Kansas to hire and train 32 workers for Affordable Care Act outreach and enrollment. Each of the health centers applied for and received different grant amounts, but the total funding breaks down to about $51,060.25 per outreach worker. The remainder of the roughly 220 navigators in the state are volunteers.
