How many trucks does the Kansas Department of Transportation utilize to clear roads of snow?
According to KDOT, the agency has 575 trucks that it uses to clear roads across the state. During the back-to-back snow storms last month, KDOT crews pretreated and plowed 880,000 lane miles of highway.

KDOT did a damn good job these last 2 storms.....and continues to do more with less and less and less. 20 years ago KDOT had more people and more trucks and lots of roads. Now we have less people, probably less equipment, and even more roads (lane miles) than then. Good job KDOT. This comment was not made by an actor or solicited in any way.
