Sound Off: Does Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby have any plans to recruit two more schools so the Big 12 once again will be a league of 12 schools?
No. Bowlsby said recently during a trip to Kansas University that the league members were comfortable at 10 institutions. But he said the issue would be addressed at all upcoming meetings, and it’s possible the league could expand at some point.

Actually, the real travesty to "higher education" is ten now equals twelve and twelve equals ten. Suits are teaching math and it's a brave new world.

10 ≠ 12
10 > 12
10 = $2,600,000,000

2,600,000,000/10 > 2,600,000,000/12

I think the league should change its name to something else. It is silly for it to be the Big 12 if it has no intentions to restore itself to 12. Big 12 isn't very original anyway, it sounds like a sister league to the Big 10. It should leave Big out of the title and a number out as well, and focus on a new original name, maybe even one that's unique and projects a powerful image.

I agree with you partially.
I think they should change their name to Big 9. That's one (1) more accurate than 12.

Big 9 would apply, even with the 10 team membership we now have! 9 Football teams, 10 less KU and 9 Basketball teams, 10 less Texas Tech.

im really missing a title game..so getting back to 12 is essential...with ND gone...what do we do....these are our choices....BYU...SMU....New Mexico...ColoSt....Louisville....Cincy.....maybe lure Nebraska back...maybe Arkansas...not a lot of good options....i would say BYU...and maybe Louisville...those are the 2 best out of the list
