Actually, the J-W has admitted in the past that the staff does sometimes make up questions that they believe are in the public interest. (That information was actually given in response to a Sound-Off question. I always wondered if they made up that question too.)

I asked the question: Has the city has ever entertained the idea of limiting the number of liquor licenses downtown? It didnt make the cut.
