Sound Off: Where can we find the 2012 or 2013 agency budget breakdowns for Bert Nash and LMH? I can’t find them on their websites or the city’s website.
According to Roger Steinbrock, a marketing supervisor for the city, the breakdown of outside agency allocations can be found on pages 46-47 of the 2013 Operating and Capital Improvement Budget. The city will provide $164,000 to Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center in 2012 and $165,200 in 2013. The city will not provide any funding to Lawrence Memorial Hospital in 2012 or 2013.

Where do you find LMH's budget or Bert Nash's entire budget with all monies, not just what the City contributes?

Try their website, where they keep links to their last five annual reports. Since 2012 isn't over yet, that one is not yet available. Why can't people find this kind of thing on their own? It took me about 30 seconds.

Why do we need to know this information?

Annual reports are easy. Those generally include a budget overview but not the detailed budget.

Annual reports are past history and frequently include only a balance sheet. Budgets look forward, and should reflect anticipated income and expenses. Very different animals.
