Sound Off: Why are there metal fence posts along the sidewalk east of Quail Run School?

“They were placed there last winter to mark the sidewalk during heavy snows,” said Roger Paschke, grounds supervisor for the Lawrence school district. “They are being removed now.”

The question and answer are both completely absurd. I don't even know where to start.

Oh Lawrence, you so silly.

I'm so glad they were up until May what with all of the 2" of snow we had this past winter. Thank you Dr. Doll and USD 497 for keeping our kids safe.

The truth behind the poles is that they were actually crosses that marked where the victims of the ax-murderer died.

It was a dark and stormy night...

The real answer is that the Lawrence school district was going to construct a zombie wall to keep zombies away from the school but sadly, that funding was used to make a roundabout

There are lots of zombie repellent sprays available online for concerned parents, but just in case you do get bit, this is the spray for you http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWZ7wQ...

Good looking out, Lady J! You may just have earned yourself a spot in zombie evac plans that I have been working on for the last decade
