Sound Off: When was the last time the Kansas men’s basketball team played in a Final Four in New Orleans?

In the 2003 NCAA Tournament, the Jayhawks advanced to the Final Four when it was held at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans. On April 5, 2003, the Jayhawks beat Marquette 94-61 in the national semifinals. Two days later, Syracuse beat Kansas in the national championship game, 81-78.

Here's another interesting tidbit that someone posted on my Facebook wall: "The KU Men's Basketball team has only won championships (on the court) during leap years - 1952, 1988, 2008. This is a leap year also." Rock Chalk Jayhawk! Go KU!
