Sound Off: Is Sports the permanent section A in the Journal-World?
As it has in recent years, the Sports section will appear as the A section on Kansas University’s game days and day after games during the NCAA tournament. “Tournament time in Lawrence is a special time so it deserves special coverage and recognition,” said managing editor Dennis Anderson. “We have six reporters, editors and photographers covering the Jayhawks for the Journal-World and KUsports.com during the tournament, much more than any other news organization that covers KU.”

If the home delivered edition gets any smaller there will only be a "section A".
Side one and side two.

Six people devoted to one sport at KU. One person devoted to everything else there. This from the newspaper whose publisher complains that there's not enough public attention for academics.
