Sound Off

Sound Off: When will Kansas University release the list of employees who have accepted its voluntary separation offer?

Gavin Young, a KU spokesman, said that because the guidelines for the program allow for a seven-day revocation period, no information on employees who accepted the buyouts would be available until July 24.

whoever posed the quesition must lead a very boring life if they are waiting in anticipation for a list of retirees. Pathetic!!!

Like the old saying goes, "if you can't beat 'em, wait for 'em to be given early retirement due to budget issues."

Heh, yeah, there's nothing sadder than that! (oh wait, I'm READING ONLINE COMMENTS about someone else waiting in anticipation for a list of retirees...)

No, you're POSTING ONLINE COMMENTS about the people reading online comments about someone else waiting in anticipation for a list of retirees... This rabbit hole goes deep.

Evidently, someone out there wants to sell them snake oil or condo time shares on the Gulf Coast.

What would be more interesting, would be the list of employees that applied for the buyout but were denied it by their superiors.

I agree, it would be VERY interesting to see who applied and got turned down.

That is probably not information that will be released. If it were you, would you want it released to the general public? Could have detrimental effects on your future.

But, indeed, it would be interesting.
