Sound Off: Why is the Jayhawk statue in front of the Kansas Union missing?
Kansas Union employees removed the statue last week in order to polish and repaint it, a Kansas University Public Safety officer said Sunday. The officer was unsure of when the statue would be back on display but said he did not think it would be too long.
