Why aren’t Matt Elwell and Theo Hayes on Channel 6 News anymore?
Jesse Fray, news director for 6News, said Matt Elwell and Theo Hayes left for jobs at TV stations in other areas of the country. Elwell moved to Bozeman, Mont., for a job in the state where his career started, and Hayes went to a station in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Lawrence needs it's own TV station. When is channel 6 going to start broadcasting over ther air?

Didn't KU used to have an on-the-air, low powered UHF channel that broadcasted local news and was ran by students?

I am happy for them but I miss seeing them on TV. I am surprised Romery is still here doing sports. Some of Channel6 former news people are now with Channel 5 in KC.

Channel 6 might be a bit low-tech, but I think they do a much better job covering local news than in the past. As to their talent leaving (biggunz)? Let us know how many promotions and pay increases you turned down....
