I was curious as to how much has been raised in the “Jamie’s Wish” campaign?

A campaign effort to raise $100,000 to renovate the infusion rooms in Lawrence Memorial Hospital’s Oncology Center is called “Jamie’s Wish.” Jamie Pursley, a patient, told close friends about her wish just before she died March 29, 2011, after a long battle with breast cancer. They met with LMH leaders and began a campaign in August to make Jamie’s wish come true. Kathy Clausing-Willis, LMH vice president, said Thursday that the campaign already has raised $94,000. She said donations have been big and small and have come from across the nation. For more on Jamie’s story or to make a donation, visit jamieswish.org.
