How long can the owners leave the semitrailer in the field at Sixth and Folks? It has a sign promoting the new Meadowlark Estates and First Management. It is an eyesore. Doesn’t the city have sign code requirements? Is a permit required for this trailer to be there? It looks terrible.
The city has been made aware of the signs and is reviewing them for compliance with the sign code, said Megan Gilliland, the city’s communications manager. She said the sign code generally does not permit the type of signs located at this property. “If found to be noncompliant, staff will work with the owner to remove the signs,” she said.
