I was wondering how much candy the Lawrence dentist collected during its post-Halloween party?
Kim Hill, clinic coordinator for Growing Smiles, said the clinic collected 672 pounds of candy during its party Nov. 3. She said about 250 children participated. The candy will be shipped to troops serving overseas. Last year, the event collected 500 pounds of candy.
