We want to know who is responsible for sidewalk maintenance in Lawrence. We live on a corner lot and have two public sidewalks that run through our property and one of them has buckled. Are we responsible for the repairs or is the city?
According to state law, property owners are responsible for the maintenance of public sidewalks that run through their property.
