Has the city set a date for its woodchip sale?
Yes. This year’s sale will be Oct. 6-8 at the city’s compost facility, 1420 E. 11th St. Woodchips cost $10 a truckload, but people can load small amounts (buckets, etc.) at no charge. The sale runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 6 and 7, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 8 — or until the chips run out.
