I saw that the KU football team was in Dallas recently participating in the Big 12's media days event. Don't the Jayhawks have a similar event of their own, and, if so, when is that?
KU does host its own football media day each year. It's only open to the media and it usually runs for a few hours. Players and coaches are made available for interviews and photos throughout the afternoon as print, radio and television crews gather all the information they need to begin previewing the upcoming season. This year's event is Tuesday. The Jayhawks open the 2011 season against McNeese State on Sept. 3 at home.
