It was great to read about Marmaduke in the American Profile Saturday and to know he’s alive and doing well. Could we see more Marmaduke comics in your paper? It would be great.
Adding Marmaduke is not being considered, said Journal-World managing editor Dennis Anderson. In order to add a comic, another would have to be discontinued. The Journal-World conducted a comics survey earlier this year and there was no clear-cut comic that readers suggested should be dropped at this time.
