How does a person know when to resume speed after slowing down for the flashing yellow lights at a school zone? I have no idea where the zones end for a lot of the schools.
According to David Woosley, the city’s traffic engineer, “End of School Zone” signs or traditional speed limit signs are posted where the reduced speed limit ends. Anyone concerned about an area not being properly defined may contact the city’s Traffic Division, at 832-3035, so that a staff member may review the situation.
