Is there a website or toll free number to have your name and address removed from a junk mail list?
Representatives for the U.S. Postal Service said customers can write to the Mail Preference Service of the Direct Marketing Association and request a “name removal form” to be removed from many national mailing lists. Other tips involve contacting companies that send you mail and requesting to be placed on their “do not promote” lists or asking them to remove your name from mailing lists. Simple steps like keeping track of whom you give your name and address to can help as well.
