Why doesn’t the Journal-World ever publish the Big 12 volleyball standings? Frankly, I find that more interesting than a tennis tournament in Spain.

There is no reliable way for news outlets, including the Journal-World to get results in order to update standings in a timely fashion, according to Andrew Hartsock, associate sports editor. The Associated Press, for instance, does not provide Big 12 volleyball scores or standings as it does for professional tennis tournaments. There is also the concern that a Big 12 standings report would be obsolete before publication.
