Where can I find a list of Lawrence school district budget cuts, including jobs that have been eliminated?
The Lawrence district has a list of the $4.6 million in cuts board members have made at usd497.org/BudgetPlanning. Superintendent Rick Doll said Wednesday administrators are still examining how many total jobs the cuts will cost. They plan to finish the process in April. Some of the positions that were cut will not be filled because of retirements, and some teachers could be moved to different schools.
