Kansas University Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little has made much of improving KU’s graduation and retention rates. What are the university’s current rates?
Using the most recent data available from KU’s Office of Institutional Research and Planning, 32.3 percent of the freshmen that entered KU in the fall of 2005 graduated in four years. Among KU freshmen entering in the fall of 2008, 77.7 percent returned to KU for their sophomore year.
