Who does the lawn care at the old Grant School? Is he the same person who maintains the roads? Was the lawn care put up for bid?
The Grant Township Board of Trustees is responsible for the lawn care. Rich Bireta, trustee for Grant Township, said the board contracts an independent contractor — the same contractor it employs as a road superintendent — to mow between two and five times a month, which costs about $200 per mow. The lawn care has not been put up for bid recently, but Bireta said interested parties are welcome to contact the township at email@example.com.
