The city limits parking in the same place on a street to 48 hours. Is the rule still enforced during snowy times like these?

Officers are still responding to parking complaints, even with the snow, said Sgt. Bill Cory, Lawrence police spokesman. When someone calls in a complaint, an officer marks the vehicle. If the vehicle doesn’t move in 48 hours, the officer writes a ticket and puts an orange sticker on the car. Two days later the car will be towed if it hasn’t been moved, Cory said.
